hugh, everyone wrote such touching words. i don't know if i could be so eloquent. pat touched me in a way that no one has. she taught me that you can be very spiritual but also very real and silly. she has helped me realize that my job can help make people feel better on the inside by making them feel pretty. my visits with pat and with you felt like i was with people i knew for a long time. she made me feel closer to God in a way i never knew i could. hugh, you are a cool guy that had a relationship like no other and pat would want you to enjoy yourself. remember she is always with you in a way you have never experienced. we are all on a journey to the same place. sincerely, nicole

I am so very grateful that the Lord allowed Pat and you to come into my life. I know Pat is with the Lord and is no longer hindered in her soaring with Him by her body of pain/limitations. But selfishly I will and do miss her. She was and is a very special lady. She always tried to find the positive in everything, encouraging me and others to always look for things to be grateful for, even in the hard things of life. I will miss her smile/laugh, her emails, her love and encouragement, her "blessings" and her "kisses" over the phone. My love and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I know you all miss her very much and it hurts but may you also sense her presence with you as well as our Lord's Arms around you when you need it the most.

Well, Hugh, I think you were married to one of the grandest ladies I"ll every meet.  She was a true blessing from God to me.  She had gifts I never expected to see, and she always blessed me with her mentoring.  I will be grateful forever for all the afternoons with her and all the phone calls.  We really connected on a level that I had never experienced with anyone, it truly was a "God Thing".  I loved her and I know she loved me.  I was blessed.  DEB
